At about 11:45 this morning I took a look out my window towards York the Hotel‘s parking lot and spotted a podium having been setup and a couple of guys in furry pants practicing something.
Then lots of cameras and gawking public showed up leaving me and the boys in the office in wonderment as to what was about to transpire. We wondered a long time. There must have been about 8 people that had to come up and speak before hand.
Before seeing all the speeches we were debating if we should have just gone downstairs to figure out what was going on. “No, we won’t make it and miss it” is what we had figured. This thought was dashed when we saw one of the speakers with a prepared speech that looked like a booklet. Though not nearly the 80 page tomb that Ralph Klein had hurled at a parliamentary page.
That being said we weren’t disappointed as our two friends in furry pants entertained us with a dance, though we still don’t know why they were there. Not that it matters, it was a good diversion from work
